The HTC One M8 and the Sony Xperia Z3 are two powerful smartphones that are set to get updates this year, meaning prices will certainly be decreased as well.
The HTC One M8 is a 5-inch smartphone with a screen displaying 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Sony Xperia Z3 is a 5.2 inch smartphone with a screen displaying 1080 x 1920 pixels. Both smartphones run the Android operating system.
The two smartphones are very similar, but there are some differences in dimensions and weight. The HTC One M8 measures in at 146.36 x 70.60 x 9.35mm. The HTC One M8 has a 2,600 mAh battery that is capable of providing up to 20 hours of 3G talktime.
The cameras in the two devices differ as well. The Sony Xperia Z3 offers a standard, yet very powerful 20.7 megapixel camera. The HTC One M8 uses a 4-ultrapixel camera. The ultrapixel camera is capable of taking better low-light pictures than standard cameras. An advantage to the Xperia Z3 is that it is capable of shooting video in 4K.
While the HTC One M8 might beat the Sony Xperia Z3 by offering a better quality display, the Xperia Z3 offers slightly faster processing speeds and more RAM. The Xperia Z3's powerful camera that is capable of shooting video in 4K also give it the advantage over the HTC One M8.
