competition among phones

There are a handful of large sized smartphones in the market today which cater to the mid-range audience. Most of these devices are available for under RS. 11,500. Naturally, the competition is quite fierce between these devices, especially since the prices are so similar.

But there are some distinguishing factors that give some of these devices a significant edge over the others. Today we're looking at four such smartphones to give you a better idea on how they fare in terms of hardware and price. Lenovo's recently launched A7000 takes the cake with its price-to-features ratio, while the Micromax Yu Yureka has the same price tag and a better software-hardware combination thanks to CyanogenMod 11S.

But what about the likes of the Huawei Honor 4X and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G? Read on for more.

In conclusion, the Lenovo A7000 and the Yu Yureka offer decent value for your money, although customers can't go wrong with something like the Huawei Honor 4X or the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.

But of all the devices mentioned in the list, we have to pick the Lenovo A7000 for the large battery, minimal thickness and more than decent hardware bundled in for just under Rs. 9,000.
